Born in Dubai, UAE in 2006, Samuel’s native land is Kochi, Kerala and is the only son of jOshy & Maya John. He completed high school from Gems Millennium School, Sharjah and will start his University Undergraduate studies in the UAE in August 2024. An aspiring and passionate artist, he started sketching at the age of two. His vibrant and refreshing strokes can attract, empower and uplift. One could feel a real break away from the stereotypes while observing Samuel’s sketches and paintings. The budding artist likes to bring The Wild or at least a tinge of it in almost every work. Art and craftsmanship have been the driving force throughout his journey. His favourite tool, the pencil, is the medium for his creativity, transferring his ideas into tangible images. He makes use of everything that comes his way; broken toys, old clothes, hardboard pieces etc to make beautiful creations. Samuel has exhibited a series of pen & ink sketches and installations in various camps and shows.

In his words “ I am yet to discover and establish my style and there is still a lot to be explored; I have just started the journey. However, I am enjoying this journey as I explore the world of images and colours”.
